Krave is a bar in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is listed at 709 N Person St, Raleigh, NC 27604, which places it among the local businesses of Raleigh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12 pmβ12 am. Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Simply a great crowd, Book exchange, regular crowd and downtempo vibes. They start you off with samples of kava and even kratom with a decent amount of variety in the menu Hope we can get those trivia nights rollingg

For someone not from here, this is not at all a place I would come back to. I came up to NC to visit family and had been researching NA options and Kava/Kratom bars in the area to celebrate my sobriety and a family event. Was first greeted by a small group of people outside who looked at me and said βYou know they donβt serve alcohol here, you can go down the street for thatβ, which was kind of rude imo. Once inside, there was nowhere to sit down which is usually a good sign at a bar (good business =good drinks and atmosphere) but then I go up to the bar to find there is only one kava-tender. When asking to order, the guy behind the desk rolls his eyes and comes over unenthusiastic and asks βYeah? What do you wantβ. Idk how you run things up there but at least in TX we PRETEND to care. The bartender didnβt feel like explaining the drinks or flavorings they had can just pressured me into buying a pineapple crushβ¦ which was not even filled halfway in a cup. Tbh not a good experience, not a good crowd, and the drinks are subpar at best.

Visiting from Florida and an familiar with Kava bars. You don't always find then outside Florida where you can throw a stone and hit three. Needed done time to prep for meeting the next day. Took a walk from the hotel and enjoyed the quaint neighborhoods on the way. Got there and it was packed for trivia - a good sign. The bar was on the dark side but I looked it. Nice decorations and a cozy vibe. Sat at the bar was greeted, looked over the menu and got a traditional shell and some tea. The shell was solid and the tea was pre sweetened.... And well mind you, but I prefer plain. As the night progressed talked to quite a few folks who were very friendly. Had that vibe a look for in kava bars. Will be stopping in again before I go home.

I was traveling for work and found this gem! Even though parking was a pain, it was worth the short walk. Had great conversation woth the owner, felt welcome and treated to a sample of their loose leaf kratom. The taste was smooth and not gritty. Very refreshing! Pricing is reasonable and service was excellent! If you are in the Raleigh area, you should stop by. I found my new spot in Raleigh! Thanks for a great experience!
